spectroTAG® is the solution for official documents such as deeds and certificates. It provides very high protection against counterfeiting. Verification is by means of a small and portable, inexpensive, reader. Without need for user training, the presence of spectroTAG® can be immediately and unambiguously verified. spectroTAG® marks substrates at very low concentration and provides a highly favorable cost/benefit ratio.

spectroTAG® products are particles, pigments and inks which are all invisible to the naked eye. Only using the unique verification devices, which are available exclusively from U-NICA, can the hidden features be seen. While conventional ultraviolet security features can be seen using widely-available UV lights, this is impossible with spectroTAG®. spectroTAG® belongs to a family of products which can be implemented singly, or in combination with other invisible or visible features. Our dye-based spctroTAG® variant presents striking color changes while a further alternative enables invisible serial coding or numbering of documents. One of the most important advantages of spectroTAG® is its ease of integration. Features can be introduced into production processes without any changes.
