scryptoTRACE™ - A novel security technology based on natural and artificial random structures
Independent of its form, colour, material and size, each object has its own unique surface structure. As a result of these structures, each product has its own unchangeable and individual feature like a human fingerprint. These structures are impossible to be distinguished by the human eye.
Thanks to the unique scryptoTRACE™ technology of the U-NICA group, an authentication of the individual random structures of the product surfaces is possible easily and reliably using mobile commercial electronic equipment.
scryptoTRACE™ combines modern communication technology with digital image processing and top-class cryptography. The surface structures detected and digitalized by scryptoTRACE™ are compared with a database and allow a clear identification and traceability of the individual product.
The technology is suitable for counterfeit protection and traceability of various types of articles made of plastic, paper, cardboard, leather, metal and glass.
